FLACON

Bohemia, 19th century
A flat rectangular flacon with a bevelled upper part and a short narrow neck, of cobalt glass, cut, painted with opaque white and yellow enamel and gold with scrolls and flowers; the reverse bears a gilded inscription "Andenken von Marienbad" (almost worn off), gilded neck and edges. H. 5.5 cm. Condition B/C. Chips on the neck.
