PAIR OF SMALL JUGS

Slovakia, Stupava, 1st half of the 20th century
Two pear-shaped faience jugs with a flared neck, low foot, and strap handle, on the white glaze colourfully painted after folk models: on the front of the larger one, a half-length figure of the Madonna with the inscription "SV. P. MARIA", on the smaller one a floral motif. H. 20,3 cm a 16 cm. In both cases brush author`s marks "FK. ST." below the handle. Condition A/B.
