A coffee pot of soft stoneware, cream-glazed, pear shape with a domed lid terminated by a three-dimensional knob, around the circumference a relief bead moulding, repeated on the foot. The handle is interlaced from two flat ribbed bands, attached to the body of the vessel with relief leaves, decorated with a peach ground, colourful overglaze painting of birds on branches and purple rose flowers in circular fields in the lower half of the front. H. 19 cm. Impressed mark "HIP". Condition B-D. Lid restored.
