A porcelain cup of Empire shape on three lion-paw feet and with a raised rosette handle, on the front a portrait miniature of Queen Louise of Prussia after the painting by Gustav Richter (1823–1884), polychrome painting on the glaze, gilded rim. With a deep saucer, cobalt ground and gilding. H. of cup 13 cm, diameter of saucer 19,2 cm. Blue underglaze "T." and black overglaze inscription "Louise." (cup); on the saucer, a blue underglaze apocryphal mark of the Vienna porcelain factory. Condition A.
