THREE CUPS

Austria, Vienna, Wiener Porzellanmanufaktur, 1780s and 19th century
A bell-shaped cup with an angular handle, on a low foot, without saucer; white porcelain, painted in cobalt under the glaze and in gold and colours on the glaze: floral motifs after Chinese models, complemented by small flowers and a bird in colour. H. 6.8 cm. Blue underglaze "Bindenschild" with the number "6." and impressed no. "8". Together with: two porcelain cups with apocryphal Viennese marks (in cobalt under the glaze): a bell-shaped one with fine relief décor and a cylindrical one on three feet, both with original saucers, decorated with colourful overglaze floral painting and gilding. H. of cups 6.3 and 7.7 cm, diameter of saucers 13.9 and 13.5 cm. Condition A-B. Minor chip on the rim of the first cup.
