PAIR OF BIEDERMEIER CUPS

2nd third of the 19th century
Two bell-shaped cups on a tall foot, with a raised handle and a deeper saucer, white porcelain, the first richly decorated with gilding featuring floral-ornamental motifs, the second with colourful floral painting and gilded borders. H. of cups 10 and 10.5 cm, diameter of saucers 13.5 cm (the gilded one probably not original). Unmarked. Condition B. Gilding worn in places, hairline crack on the coloured saucer, minor manufacturing defects.
