DINNER SERVICE

Bohemia, Schlaggenwald, Haas & Cžjžek, 3rd quarter of the 19th century
A porcelain dinner service comprising a six-person set of dinner plates (diameter 24.5 cm), soup plates (diameter 24.1 cm), and dessert plates (diameter 18.7 cm), a large tureen (without lid, H. 15 cm, diameter 23.5 cm) and a small tureen (H. 15.5 cm, diameter 16.5 cm) with handles of stylised branches and a three-dimensional blackberry as the lid finial, serving plates and dishes: 2 circular: diameter 25.2 cm (deep) and 31.3 cm (shallow), oval L. 34 cm, square diameter 24.5 cm, and a two-handled stand for the small tureen (diameter with handles 23.3 cm), rims with relief rope-twist moulding, colourfully painted diverse floral and insect motifs, gilded borders. Impressed marks "Haas & Čžjžek in Schlaggenwald" and model number "1510", the small tureen bears an impressed mark "S". Condition A-B. Hairline cracks approx. on 3 pcs.
