GALLANT COUPLE

A pair of seated Rococo figures on decorative bases with three-dimensional flowers: a lady with a little hat on her lap and a bouquet in her hand, and a cavalier with a basket of grapes. White porcelain, colourfully painted on the glaze, tinted incarnate, gilded details. H. 13,5 cm. On the reverse of the bases, gold brush marks imitating the anchor of the British Chelsea porcelain factory. Condition C. Broken-off small flowers, leaves, bouquet.
