Title page printed in black, bearing the printer`s device of Ch. Draconius and a manuscript note. Initials. Sturdy vellum binding, spine with remnants of labels, green edges. Published by the press of Christophorus Draconius in Cremona in 1588. A historical work briefly summarising the memorable events from the founding of the city of Cremona up to 1583, the year of the author`s death. Given the age of the book, its condition is exceptional; only the rear part of the binding is damaged by woodworm, the book block is intact and undamaged. On the front pastedown a (detached) ex-libris reading "SURGUNT DE NOCTE DAEMONES".
