Foreword by Arnošt Klíma, poems about Prague by Czech and foreign artists (Apollinaire, Mácha, Neruda, Seifert, Halas...), edited by Vítězslav Nezval, the book contains 128 Sudek`s photographs - intaglio printing. Hardcover with pressed décor of the Old town bridge tower and initials "JS". Title page printed in black and blue. Graphic design and cover by František Muzika. Issued and printed by Svoboda in Prague in 1948 in 22 000 copies. Signed by Josef Sudek and Vítězslav Nezval. Missing dust jacket, worn spine, cracked binding. Tear on title page, few spots, part of the book loose from the spine.
