Size 4°, 23 × 18.5 cm, unpaginated, in Czech. Original wrappers. Title page printed in blue and red. Contains 25 black-and-white photographs. Moravská Ostrava, 1938. Probably an unrealised book dummy, as the title on the cover is composed of hand-cut letters from coloured paper. At the same time, the cover is evidently original and not a later alteration. This photographic publication was issued by Oskar Federer, an important industrialist and Director General of the Vítkovice Ironworks, as a New Year’s gift for 1938 (thus published at the end of 1937). The book artistically documents the heavy labour of workers in the Vítkovice Mining and Ironworks Company. Very good condition.
