Cloth binding designed by Hana Dostálová; the wrapper bound in at the end; title page printed in black with a colour illustration. Illustrated by Josef Šíma; text translated from the French by Jaroslav Zaorálek. Printed by the Průmyslová tiskárna in Prague in 1927. In addition to the edition on “Antik” paper, 50 numbered copies were issued on Dutch handmade Van Gelder paper signed by the author, and 800 numbered copies on “Japan Banzay” paper. On the inside of the front board a black-and-white woodcut by Josef Váchal: Ex libris PhDr. Jindřich Černoch, 7 × 9.5 cm (8.2 × 10.7 cm). Excellent condition. František Hrubín – Proměna: Size 8°, 21 × 13 cm. 31 numbered pages. Loose uncut sheets preserved in a paper wrapper. Title page printed in black with an illustration by Josef Šíma. Published by the Society of Czech Bibliophiles in Prague in 1957; printed by Orbis in an edition of 700 copies. Signed by František Hrubín on the half-title. Wrapper stamped with the collection mark “J. Kačer”. One sheet with a bent corner; spine of the wrapper frayed.
