Format 16°, 14x8.2 cm. 558 numbered pp., in Latin. Solid leather binding with blind-tooled decoration, spine with 4 raised bands. Published by Franz Metternich in Cologne in 1711. Adam Friedrich Blafeys (1692-1753): PRAGMATIsche Geschichte Der Cron Böhmen. Format 4°, 20.5x17.5 cm. 912 numbered pp., in German. Copper-engraved frontispiece. Solid half-leather binding. Published by Christoph Riegel in Leipzig in 1729. Damaged by woodworm. Henricus Zoesius (1571-1627): Commentarius ad L. Libros Digestorum seu Pandectarum. Volume II, continuous pagination: pp. 587-870, though between every two numbered leaves of text a blank leaf for notes has been bound in, a large part of which is filled with period manuscript writing. This is therefore apparently a bespoke binding, as none of the known editions of the book had this form. Solid leather binding. The otherwise unidentified edition apparently dates from Cologne, from the first third of the 18th century.
