Rare hexagonal vase, originally with a lid, that has not been preserved. Underglaze cobalt painting and color and gold painting on the glaze. Painted with rocks and flowers and with figural motifs taken from the "Schulz Codex". The work of one painter of Johann Gregor Höroldt`s circle, most probably Johann Ehrenfried Stadler. The vase is a copy of a vase from the Japanese Arita from 1700 (Grassi Museum in Leipzig, inv. No. 1925.72). Two similar vases are in the same collection, one is bottom marked "AR" in cobalt blue and the other is marked on the lid "No: 138 W", inv. no. 1911.158 and 1925.71.
