CUP AND SAUCER
Silesia, Prószków, 1st half of the 19th century
Bell-shaped Empire cup with high handle (Campaner Form) and shallow saucer of black stoneware imitating popular Wedgwood production, decorated with fine silver painting on the glaze with motifs of leafy garlands and linear borders.
H. of cup 7 cm, diameter of saucer 14,8 cm.
Embossed mark "PROSKAU".
Condition restored.
Glued handle, restored rim of the cup, partially loose and oxidized painting.
