A PIERCED PLATE AND A BOWL

Bohemia, Týnec nad Sázavou, Johann Fürst zu Lobkowitz 2nd third of the 19th century
Circular plate of soft stoneware, creamy glaze, embossed décor imitating wicker, decorative pierced rim. - Octagonal bowl of fine stoneware, printed cobalt décor on creamy glaze: romantic river landscape with a gazebo and a couple, wide floral band around the rim. Compare with: F. X. Jiřík, Týnecká kamenina, Prague 1927, Picture no. 92. diameter 23 cm; 32x23 cm. Embossed mark „F.L.W. in Teinitz“ in a laurel wreath. Condition B-D. The plate is in a good condition, only with few scratches in the glaze; the bowl is glued.
