CROSS OF HONOR OF THE GERMAN MOTHER - BRONZE

(Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter Gold - Mutterkreuz). Slender elongated cross, blue enamel with white borders. Black centered swastika symbol with inscription: „DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER“. It was worn around the neck with a ribbon. Dated on the reverse side „16. Dezember 1938“ with signature of Adolf Hitler. Awarded from 1938 to German mothers who conceived and raised at least four children. Biggest size 45 mm. Condition C. Chipped enamel. Missing ribbon.
