MAP OF LANDS OF THE CZECH CROWN

Colored copperplate on paper, 570x870 mm, inscription "Estats de la couronne de Boheme, ou sont le Royaume de Boheme le Duché de Silesie, les Marquisats de Moravie, et de Lusace", cartouche with hunting motifs, title, artist`s name, name of the Publisher A.-H. Jaillot and date 1692 upper right, cartouche with six scales lower left. The map shows the surroundings of the Labe and Odra rivers, East Germany and part of Poland. Probably printed later, perhaps from the `Atlas Nouveau` edition, issued by Pieter Mortier in Amsterdam in 1705. Torn edges away from the image area.
