TIN TANKARD AND BASIN

Germany, Pirna, Carl Adolph Böhmer (1823-1860) 18th, 19th century
Cylindrical tin tankard with widened vase and hinged lid, engraved wavy and floral decor with German inscription in a cartouche: "Zwei Herzen nicht zu tren(n)en sind / Wen Gott mit Liebe sie verbind.", H. 23 cm, marked by manufacturer on the lid. Basin with lid with baluster handle, two relief handles on the back side, brass tap, 22,5x22,5x15 cm, unmarked (18th century). Condition corresponding to the age. D. Stará, Zinnmarken aus aller Welt, Augsburg 1992, No. 459.
