STRIKING POCKET WATCH WITH A CHATELAINE, QUARTER REPEATING

Pocket watch with two outer cases of gilt silver, chatelaine with key - l. 37 cm, total (gross) weight 312,95 g, Ø 4,8 cm, cases 6 cm and 7,5 cm. White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, two yellow hands (unoriginal minute hand) and winding hole. Verge escapement, pierced balance cock. Pierced décor of the outer case to the back. Second case covered with tortoise-shell, outer case decorated with applied mount with an emblem of the Ottoman Empire, set with white and green stones. The quarter repeating function is activated by pushing down the stem. Condition restored. Working and running well, including striking movement, with key..
