Ellegant ladies open face pocket watch of yellow metal, decorated with beads around the perimeter, enamel painted motif of Venus and Amor on guilloché surface to the back. Total (gross) weight 44,78 g, Ø 2,8 cm (dial), total Ø 4,3 cm. White enamel dial with black Roman numerals for hours and Arabic numerals for minutes, two pierced hands and winding hole, marked "Gide A PARIS". Verge escapement, pierced balance cock. Also marked by manufacturer. Exceptionally well-preserved painting, which was probably created by Gide Marie (1762-1821).
