Louis XVI clock, h. 120 cm. Wooden case on a wall console with gilt relief decorations of carytids, putties and allegory of time, decorated with brass and tortoise-shell marquetry with floral motifs - in style of André-Charles Boulle (1642-1732). Case on four decorative legs, glazed door, dial with ormolu relief décor, Ø 26,5 cm, blue Roman numerals on white enamel cartouches for hours and engraved Arabic numerals for minutes. Two winding points, two black hands. Topped with a figure of Pheme on an eagle. Movement marked: "G.J.Champion Paris" Condition restored. Running well..
