Three-panel folding screen of lacquered wood, one side with motifs of a flowering plum, a chrysanthemum and butterflies in red lacquer inlaid with bone, on the other side with motifs of birds in branches of peonies and cherry blossoms made of relief cut bone and mother-of-pearl on black lacquered background (technique Shibayama). Upper part decorated with pierced grid with motifs of a bird of paradise and clouds and carving of sea waves and birds. Signed on a bone plate lower right. 170x123 cm. Condition A.
