Set of Porcelain

FAR EAST (JAPAN)

18th - 20th century
Six porcelain bowls for rise, resp. tea, white and gray glaze. Cobalt, pressed and color painted mostly floral décor, gilded details. Ø 16,5 cm, 14 cm, 13,5 cm, 13 cm, 11 cm and 9,5 cm. - Smallest bowl marked with an unreadable red stamp, other unmarked. - Two deeper circular plates, with mount for hanging, porcelain, blueish glaze, color painted bouquet and tiny leaves on the glaze, ornamental border around the rim. Export goods for European market. Comes with: two porcelain bowls for tea, semi-globular shape on low foot, whitish glaze, color painted on the glaze and in interior with floral motifs, gilded grids and waves around the rims. Ø 21,5 cm, 11 cm and 7,7 cm, h. of bowls 5 cm and 4,5 cm. Unmarked. Condition B.
