West Slovakia, 19th - 20th century
Pear-shaped faience jug with strip handle with a thumbrest, white glaze, cobalt painted floral décor with date: "18 / 79". Bottom brush mark "PO" (probably Dechtice, Odler manufactory). Smaller faience pear-shaped jug with strip handle. Craquelure on whitish glaze, color painted architectural motif. Probably Stupava, 1st half of the 19th century. Compare with.: I. Pišútová: Fajansa, Bratislava 1981, Picture no. 202. Pear-shaped jug with strip handle, faience, white glaze. Painted. Brush mark "S" and no. "15", probably Western Slovakia, Častá, Slaninka, 1st half of the 19th century Pear-shaped jug with strip handle, faience, white glaze, painted. Jug with greenish glaze, painted. Dated under handle: "1906.". Jug with floral décor, painted on white glaze. H. 16,5 cm - 27 cm. Condition B-D. Three jugs restored.
