From an arched four-leaf base rises a figurative stem with a fully sculpted seated Venus figure (the corresponding piece contains a figure of Bacchus) with a standing putto in her arms, holding a vegetal candlestick with a four-armed attachment. White porcelain, rich relief decor in rococo style, painted in color on the glaze, flesh tones, gilded details. Total h. 48,5 cm. Blue underglaze "Schwertermarke" (Knaufzeit), engraved mod. no. "C. 8.4." (C 84 a), impressed Bossierernummer "58", engraved no. "60". Condition restored. Provenance: private collection, Bavaria.
