Two half-naked dancers in Art Nouveau - Art Deco style, white porcelain, painted in blue and brownish tone under the glaze, flesh tones; low circular plinths. H. 23 cm and 22 cm. Green printed underglaze marks "Rosenthal Kunst-Abteilung SELB-BAVARIA" and shield with cross and dates "1914 / 1916", or "Rosenthal SELB-BAVARIA", impressed model no. "K 202" and no. "16", one with brown brush mark "B. Boehs.". Model no. 202 actually belongs only to the younger of the figures, named "After Bath", so called "Ionic Dancer" has model number 201. Condition A-B. Older figure with hairline crack.
