Sculpture of a kneeling half-naked dancer with closed eyes, outstretched arms, and a golden headband, on a low oval plinth, white porcelain, painted in shades of blue and brown, flesh tones, gilded details. H. 14,5 cm. Green printed underglaze company mark "Rosenthal Kunst-Abteilung SELB-BAVARIA" and shield with cross and date "1914 / 1916", green brush mark, signed on the plinth: "B. Boess.", impressed model no. "K 437.". Condition B. Minor restoration to fingers and robe. Provenance: private collection, Bavaria.
