Ferdinand Liebermann (1883-1941): "Brotneid", design 1911. Porcelain sculpture of a kneeling boy with a penguin and a crab at his feet, decorated with painting in subtle flesh and gray tones. H. 8.5 cm. Green printed underglaze mark "Rosenthal Kunst-Abteilung SELB-BAVARIA" and a shield with a war cross and date "1914 / 1917", impressed model number "K 84", signed on plinth "FERD. LIEBERMANN", green brush mark "G.".
Albert Caasmann (1886-1968): "Sommerritt", design 1916. Figurine of a boy in Art Deco style, sitting on a meadow horse, holding it by the antennae. White porcelain, painted in shades of green and brown, flesh tones, rectangular base. H. 8 cm. Green printed underglaze mark "Rosenthal Kunst-Abteilung SELB-BAVARIA" and a shield with a war cross and date "1914 / 1917", impressed model number "K 440", signed on plinth "A. Caasmann.", green brush mark "E".
