Ferdinand Liebermann (1883-1941): Faun with Grapes, 1918 (design 1913). Decorative sculpture in Art Deco style, white porcelain with simple painting in shades of gray-brown and blue, flesh tones. Green printed mark "Rosenthal Kunst Abteilung" and a shield with a war cross and date "1914 / 1918", impressed model number 298.
Albert Caasmann (1886-1968): Escape, 1923 (design 1913). Group sculpture of a girl riding a young faun, white porcelain with simple painting in brownish tones under the glaze, low oval plinth with support. Engraved signature "A. Caasmann" on the plinth, green printed mark "Rosenthal SELB-BAVARIA", brown brush mark "K". Model number K 208.
H. 9 cm and 13,5 cm.
