Figural sculpture of a walking Pierrot on a low oval plinth with a support and a small flower, white porcelain, simply painted overglaze decoration in the Art Deco style. The design was created based on a photograph of Adolf Bolm, who portrayed Pierrot in Michel Fokine`s ballet "Carnaval" with music by Robert Schumann, which premiered in 1910. H. 28,5 cm. Green printed underglaze mark "Rosenthal Bavaria", engraved signature "D. CHAROL" and model no. "79". Condition A. Another copy is in the collections of The Moravian Gallery in Brno, inv. no. U 28871.
