VASE WITH FLORAL PAINTING

A krater-shaped vase on a taller, square pedestal, white porcelain. Decorated with a light green ground, vibrant floral painting in a continuous band around the body of the vase, and smaller floral clusters on each side of the pedestal. Wide gilded borders. Total h. 47,5 cm. Blue underglaze "Bindenschild", embossed date and no. "53" (Weissdrehernummer - Heinrich Welsch (1812-1826)), date on plinth, engraved "H4" and embossed "W" (Bossiererbuchstabe - Johann Dandl (1812-1837)) Condition B-C.
