Bell-shaped cup on higher foot, split serpent-shaped handle, with a deeper saucer. White porcelain, decorated with a turquoise green ground, a ribbon bearing the inscription: "Gesundheit, Frohsinn und Zufriedenheit, Bekränzen Ihre ganze Lebenszeit" (Health, Cheerfulness, and Contentment Crown Your Entire Lifetime), forming the letters "GLUICK," rich gilded ornamentation. H. of cup 8 cm, diameter of saucer 13,5 cm. Blue underglaze mark "S.", embossed date on cup and no. "36." and "2". Condition A-B. Hairline crack on saucer.
