Book format 16°, 11,1 x 7,1 cm. 575 numbered pages, in Czech. Contains musical notation, initials, headers, and a vignette. Later full leather binding with a clasp, embossed Rococo decoration, and a spine with two raised bands, likely from the second half of the 18th century.
On the front endsheet, there are handwritten notes regarding the book’s previous ownership: "Sua sponte attulit Mathias Polacžek molitor in Austraschin, aliter Stoklasa, an. 1779 . dimisus ac carceribus Pilgramiensibus / attulit die 10. 9bris / (...) post reditum e carceribus Pilgramiensibus praevie etc hoc libro proditur apud brachium saeculare per examen Josephi Brchan, qui (...). Daroval knihovně školy židlochovské Toušek mistr zednický v Židlochovicích 1857..."
Signed "Jan Boj. Fáborský kaplan Židloch." (J. Fáborský, 1818–1891).
On one of the front blanks, there are two stamps: "VOLKSSCHULE SEELOWITZ." The binding and book block show signs of use but remain intact. Older repairs, numerous pagination errors, missing title page; between pages 8 and 13, four blank sheets. Sheets 437/8-441/2 are fragmentary, and the index is incomplete. Occasional handwritten annotations in the text. Paper browned, edges worn, corners bent, insect damage.
