Provenance: Galerie Maldoror. In this 1910 treatise, Kupka, a leading pioneer of abstract painting, explores the theoretical foundations of his new artistic direction. As a result, he sought a new path in abstraction, drawing inspiration from nature and its diverse forms and structures.
