Book format 4°, 30.8 × 23 cm. 291 numbered pp., in Czech, with b/w and colour plates. Title page printed in black and red. Contemporary half-leather binding, spine in red-violet goatskin with 6 false raised bands, label with gilt title, boards covered with coloured cloth, on the upper cover a monogram JU blind-stamped and overlaid with red-violet paper imitating leather, coloured headband. Card slipcase covered with marbled paper. On rear pastedown stamped "K DUDEŠEK", 1940s. Published by Sfinx in Prague in 1944, 1st edition. Very good condition.
