Bibliophile edition containing 20 colour woodcuts by František Kupka, listed in the work under the pseudonym Paul Regnard, engraved by E. Gasperini. Original soft sewn binding in publisher’s wrappers, card slipcase. Published by H. Piazza in Paris in 1919 in a total edition of 600 copies. This copy is no. 60, printed on Japanese paper and additionally containing a suite of woodcuts on Camaïeu paper (nos. 51–100). 1st edition. Wrappers and paper slightly stained in places, binding slightly torn at the spine, upper right corner of the text block bumped, slipcase damaged, otherwise in good condition.
