THREE CUPS

Bohemia, 1st third of the 19th century
Two bell-shaped beakers of colourless glass, blown in a mould, cut and decorated with matte wheel-engraved floral motifs around the bowl and a toothed border with traces of gilding below the rim. Together with: an ovoid beaker on a higher scalloped foot, decorated with inverted teardrop-shaped cut panels with a plain medallion to the front, the lower tapered section faceted, with a plain stepped neck. Fitted with a non-original lid with an octagonal finial. H. 2 x c. 11,5 cm and 9,4, resp. 13,3 cm. Condition B.
