SET OF PEWTER MEASURES (7 PCS)

Mostly England, Birmingham, 19th century
Six pewter measures with indicated capacities: pint, 1/2 pint, 1 gill, 1/2 gill (2×), and the smallest vessel marked only with the number “25”. Marked with several pewterers’ marks – initials with crown and numerals: “VR 88”, “VR LN”, “VR 350”, “ER 355”, “GN”, “JAMES YATES”, “YATES & BIRCH”, and serial numbers on the undersides. Together with: a 1/2-litre cylindrical measuring cup with handle, marked “FEINZINN”, “8 34” and “880” (probably Hungary). Condition B-D.
