France, Limoges, Austria-Hungary, Vienna. 17th - 19th century
Sorrowful Virgin Mary seated beneath the Cross, 8×6 cm, damaged along the lower edge, mounted in a metal frame with suspension loop; verso with historical inventory label “X / 14,346 / Limoges.” France, 17th century. Certificate for the permanent export of a cultural-value object, NPÚ Brno 2025. Silver brooch with a miniature enamel painting depicting the mythological scene of Orpheus and Eurydice, set in a scrollwork frame with Medusa heads against a cobalt-blue ground; total (gross) weight 19.53 g, overall Ø 4.8 cm; reverse marked with maker’s mark “LP” and “A”, Austro-Hungarian assay mark for Ag 750/1000. Medallion with the abduction of Helen of Troy after the model in the collections of the Louvre, Paris, inv. no. OA 2044. Anonymous Limoges enamel plaque, 1540/1560. Circular multi-figure scene in muted tones with gold accents. Enamel painting on copper, disc Ø 11 cm, mounted in a metal frame. Verso with brush-painted inventory number “157”. Angelica and Medoro carving their names into the tree trunk. Figures from Orlando Furioso by the Italian Renaissance poet Ludovico Ariosto. After a model by the Italian painter Teodoro Matteini (1754–1831). Enamel painting on copper, Ø approx. 10.5 cm, framed; verso with label “Weibel & Co Kunsthandlung zur Glashalle Luzern, seit 1895”. Damaged, restored. Condition A-C.
