A NARROW MOUTH JUG

Western Slovakia (Košolná?), 1st half of the 19th century
Large pear-shaped jug with a narrow mouth and an arched handle, faience, decorated on a white glaze with high-temperature colors: a central octagonal medallion with a motif of agricultural tools, floral motifs. H. 30 cm. Almost worn-off mark on the underside "K". Condition restored. Glued and repaired neck, mouth and handle.
