SILVER TABLE STAND

Bohemia, probably Nový Bor, F. Egermann, and Silesia 1830s
A decorative table stand with a stem of embossed silver sheet with a figural motif of a cupid on a dolphin on a profiled oval base with a floral border, fitted with a bowl of oblong plan of colourless cut glass painted with a pink and blue glaze with cut-through bouquets on the sides, while the main parts are dominated by rich stone and wedge cuts with a serrated rim. The stem marked with a stamped number "13" and an Silesian hallmark. Ag 812.5/1000. Rims of the bowl on the shorter sides more noticeably chipped, otherwise good condition.
