SILVER BIEDERMEIER TABLE STAND

Austria, Vienna, 1854
A silver salt cellar in the form of a double shell on three decorative feet and with a Rococo handle, to which a glass mustard jar with a hinged silver lid with a cut-out for a spoon is attached, topped by a figurine of a cockerel serving as a knob. The jar of colourless glass is layered with opaque white glass and decorated with colourful painting of floral motifs. 15×14×11 cm. Hallmark S-27, master`s mark "AB". Ag 13 loth (812.5/1000).
