Title page printed in black and red, with a woodcut heraldic motif on the verso. Initials, vignettes. Sturdy full-leather binding with blind-tooled decoration, spine with 4 raised bands and a label with manuscript text, sprinkled edges. Published by Peter Keschedt in Cologne in 1594 – 1st edition. A detailed chronological account of the Spanish wars in the Netherlands. The binding is slightly worn and damaged by woodworm, but the book is otherwise in exceptionally well-preserved condition given its age.
