Firm full-leather binding by Karel Dudešek in natural pigskin, spine with 5 raised bands and gilt lettering, patination, coloured headband, gilt top edge; back pastedown marked with a round stamp bearing a hoopoe reading "K DUDEŠEK". Published by I. L. Kober in Prague in 1866. Both volumes marked with the ownership stamp "Ant. Valenta Plzeň - Pilsen". Front free endpaper with the bookplate of Karel Dudešek. Text block shows signs of age and use: browned, soiled leaves, minor tears, otherwise good condition, complete. Minor rubbing to the spine.
