Book format 4°, in French. An incomplete edition of Diderot`s famous Encyclopedia, which was published between 1751-1780. In a non-original paper cover. The publication contains two numbered parts loose from binding, 7-48 p. and 1-52 p., other parts are also loose and inserted in hard scratched cover. Worn binding, inside stains from moisture, affected by insects, some pages of the book are wrinkled and torn. Without title page. Contains many steel engraving illustrations related to surgery, geography, chemistry, physics and architecture.
