Oil on canvas, 81,5x66 cm, signed, marked and dated upper right "G. Hämmerle Brünn. 1914.". A posthumous portrait of Karl Reissig (1832 -1908) painted probably according to a photo from the artist`s studio. The painting was probably commissioned by Karl Reissig Jr. (1863–1948) for the interior of the Reissig villa, which was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Condition B.
