HABAN DOUBLE WALLED JUG
West Slovakia (Sobotiště?), 1668
Globular jug with short narrowed neck, handle, low foot, double-walled, shallow interior, tiny hole under the handle - with a "thermo" function. Haban faience, white glaze, floral motifs in yellow, blue and green, date on sides. Consulted with PhDr. Alena Kalinová and PhDr. Jiří Pajer, CSc. Similar jugs can be found, for example, in the collections of the Moravian Museum or the Museum of Applied Arts in Budapest, some of them had a lid.
H. 12 cm, depth 7 cm.

Minor chips, resp. scratches in the glaze on neck and handle, otherwise in a very good condition.
