At the beginning of the book a leaf with contemporary manuscript notes is bound in. Printed by Johann Gormann in Wittenberg in 1616. Book block overall in good condition, edges of leaves restored, minor insect damage in the front section. Alois Jirásek: Psohlavci. Size 4°, 28,4x21 cm. 159 numbered pp., in Czech. Title page printed in black, with A. Jirásek`s signature from 1925. Illustrated by M. Aleš. Half-leather binding: spine of natural oasis goatskin (calfskin?) with 5 double raised bands, label with gilt lettering, boards covered with paper with a silvery effect, headband, gilt top edge. Published by J. Otto in Prague in 1900, 6th edition, 1st illustrated. Very good condition, only several leaves slightly soiled. Collective of authors: Mistr Jan Hus v životě a památkách českého lidu. Size 2°, 31,2x23,5 cm. 124 numbered pp., in Czech. LVII leaves (partly printed on both sides) of pictorial supplements. Title double page printed in black and red. At the end of the book a supplement of Twenty-Six Passages Confiscated by Austrian Censorship from the work of 1923 and the original wrapper are bound in. Half-parchment binding: spine of white parchment, drawn two-colour title, boards covered with artist`s paper, embossed figure of a Hussite warrior in red leather, gilding, headband, gilt top edge, on the rear pastedown marked with a pasted-on round stamp "KD", cardboard slipcase covered with artist`s paper. On the rear blank marked with a round stamp with a hoopoe "K DUDEŠEK" and signed: "Einband gestaltet E. K. Dudešek". Wrapper bound in at the end of the book. Published in the jubilee year of the twentieth anniversary of the Czechoslovak Republic on the occasion of a trip by the Spolek českých bibliofilů to Tábor on 7 and 8 May A.D. 1938 in a print run of 120 numbered copies on Pannekoek-Holland paper, this copy bears no. 28. Hand-coloured, and on the front blank a watercolour ex libris of K. Dudešek by V. Moravec. Very good condition. Another copy is held in the collections of the Moravian Gallery in Brno, inv. no.
