TABLE CLOCK IN A CASE WITH A PORTRAIT OF ELIZABETH PETROVNA
2nd half of the 19th century (older clockwork)
Table clock in a silver case with painted oval medallion on mother of pearl with a portrait of Elizabeth Petrovna (1741-1762). Case with oval base on 3 globular legs and removable lid decorated with relief garland / leaves and set with blue sapphires and two diamonds (Ø ca 1,7 mm), total (gross) weight 216,71 g, 7,5x6,5x4 cm. White enamel dial with black Roman numerals for hours and Arabic numerals for minutes, two yellow arrow hands, Ø 3,6 cm. Verge escapement, pierced balance cock, marked: "Hen(y) Hindley York 1909". 1st kokoshnik hallmark, master`s mark "ФA". Condition B.
